It specialises in domestic and international commercial and corporate law including mergers and acquisitions, contracts and litigation and employment law. Fresacher Advocaten is a niche firm, which offers single point of contact for full service legal work to its clients. A number of lawyers specialising in various areas e.g. IP and merger control, as well as a civil law notary, a tax lawyer and other professionals, assist on a regular basis by providing specialist expertise required to best advise the clients.
The firm is a member of Commercial Law Group (“CLG”) an international group of lawyers providing specialised legal and taxation services throughout Europe. This sophisticated network is available for the firm’s clients, and is able to provide seamless service on international aspects of transactions and cases.
Peter J. Fresacher, the founder of the firm, obtained a degree in law at Leyden University and was subsequently called to the bar in The Hague in 1985. He practised as a solicitor and barrister (advocaat en procureur) in The Hague, working as an associate with a small as well as a leading major law firm, before moving to Amsterdam in 1996.
In 1999 he was appointed special counsel to the embassy of one of the EU-member states, which he regularly represents in and out of court. He was also appointed Honorary Consul General of Austria in Amsterdam in 2006.
Peter Fresacher is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Dutch Lawyers Association for International Trade (NAVIH), and the Association for Corporate Litigation (VCL). He is a native speaker of Dutch and German and he is also fluent in English.
Edith N. Nordmann, obtained a degree in law at the Amsterdam Free University and was called to the bar in 2002. She has also obtained an expert qualification in employment law and is a certified mediator. Edith is a member of the board (of trustees) of various charitable institutions and she is a member of the supervisory board of a hospital. Edith Nordmann is also a full member of the Dutch Society of Employment Law Specialists (VAAN). She is a native speaker of Dutch and German, she is also fluent in English, French and Italian.

The firm of Fresacher Advocaten is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, adjacent to the motorway A10 (exits S108, S109, S110). It is within easy reach of public transport and is only 9 minutes by train from Schipol Airport to the nearby railway station Amsterdam RAI.
